Always been passionate about health, fitness and well-being. Prior to teaching Pilates I worked as a Chiropractor for over 20 years with clinics in London and Sussex. For the last 10 years I have been teaching Pilates. Initially teaching clinical and contemporary Pilates including mat and studio equipment.
In 2025 I embarked on a fully comprehensive training programme in Classical Pilates with Amy Kellow at Everybody Pilates a 2nd generation classical Pilates teacher trainer. This has had a profound impact on my own Pilates practise as well as my teaching practice.
I am committed to learning and regularly attend teacher training and attend weekly classes with my own classical teachers. When not doing Pilates, I can be found at early morning bootcamp, running or walking my dogs.
Classical Pilates: Pilates with purpose, in its purest form. The method focuses on strengthening and lengthening the body and focusing the mind through controlled movements. The transformative power of classical Pilates follows a structured system and sequence. Within the system lies endless variety and challenge which keeps the practice exciting and engaging. There are many benefits in the practice of Pilates. You create a mind-body connection that will build physical, emotional and mental strength, enabling you to take what you learn and apply it to your everyday life. It will make your movement more efficient and is the perfect compliment to other forms of exercise.
It is challenging both physically and mentally. However, it is suitable for everybody, and exercises can be modified and adapted to suit the individual. We provide a welcoming, supportive environment where you are encouraged to become stronger, leaner, healthier and happier.
